Hey my names Amanda. I'm new here and hm lets see..yupp I've been playing guitar for about a little over a year now, started when I was fourteen and wasn't really serious about it in the beginning (Wish I was), but now I looove guitar and also play piano. I have so many influences, like Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Zebra, Queensryche, Zeppelin, Elton John, Dream Theater, Deep Purple, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steely Dan, woooh I could go on and on haha. Well anyways, this site's cool I'm lookin forward to posting more stuff up and learning new things. Thanks for reading :D

Let me get this straight - you started a year ago, at 14, but you regret that you weren't seriously learning?!? :D You are lucky! Many of us, lost many years not being serious! AND, you play piano, which will help a lot with the theory. All in all, I would say you are in good shape. Stick with it and you will become a very good guitarist, Amanda! Welcome to the board.

I JUST got the Osmand's out of my mind after 30+ years! And you had to bring it up again! :lol: Three younger sisters had the walls plastered with the posters.
