Welcome to GN, Will! I've always found it difficult to play bass and sing at the same time, much more so than singing and playing rhythm, so good for you - I think I noticed the other post in the singing forum, I'll check that out later.

Howdy. Did you not know that bass players are not allowed to be lead singers?

Jack Bruce? Phil Lynott? Lemmy? McCartney? Alan Lancaster used to take lead vocals on a few Status Quo songs; ditto Overend Watts for Mott The Hoople. There must be many more - they're just the first few that popped into my head.

I still think playing bass and singing at the same time is horrendously difficult!

Vic said I still think playing bass and singing at the same time is horrendously difficult!

I find doing pretty much anything well and singing pretty difficult - according to my Good Lady ... :P

Welcome, Will!
