Hello to all,

I am new to guitar noise but not new to the guitar. I am from Valley City,OH, and have played jazz guitar for 52 years. My band is the FLAVORED JAZZ QUINTET of Medina, OH, and I teach jazz guitar. Also I am available for solo jazz guitar venues for private social occasions.

Have a great day. :D

Hey Robert, welcome to GN.

Head over to "hear here" and post a song! I'm not a jazz player, but I love to listen to it.

And incase you didn't know, anyone can write an article for GN, so if your a teacher, talk to David if you'd like to write about something.

Looking forward to hearing a little jazz.

Yeah, this guitar is a 1955 Gibson ES175. It was my first guitar when I was a beginner at the age of 13 in 1955. It has served me well over the years, and it has a few "battlescars" but it is a nice sounding axe. I never take it out. My Gibson Les Paul is my workhorse for gigs.

Hi Robert and welcome to GN.

That sure is a beautiful instrument you got there in your pic. And to think it was your first instrument all those years ago. Guess you don't suffer from GAS.

Stick around - we'll cure that for you.

Would love to hear some of your stuff in the hear here section.

See you round.

It was them that turned me to drink.
