Hey, I'm Robert. I'm from Indiana originally, and the Air Force saw fit to place in England for a couple years. I'm hoping to add guitar playing to my list of hobbies. I purchased my first guitar this past weekend. It's a used Squire Stratocaster. I'm hoping to learn some of my favorite songs. I'm a big fan of rock and punk (both classic and more modern). Some of my favorite bands are Queen, ACDC, The Clash, Alkaline Trio, Social Distortion, and way too many to list. I've been told that Social Distortion is a good place to start as a beginner. I played the piano a little bit in high school, but that was all. When it comes to guitar, I'm absolutely brand new.
