I saw X-Ray Spex live in London at the first Rock Against Racism rally. They were phenomenal. They disappeared once they'd signed for a major label; sold out - and by sheer coincidence I've just been talking to David about them.
btw - The BBC article has the song title wrong; it was "Up Bondage, Up Yours" - it was fast, and loud.

Sad - I hate to read musical obituaries - but the only thing I remember is "Germ Free Adolescents" and I really didn't like it much....she was born 21 days after me. Too young to go.
