Anyone use these? Anyone know of a store that uses the reader? The chip is supposed to prevent the resale of stolen guitars.

It's an interesting use of RFID, but unless most stores use it, it doesn't work. A Catch-22 is created...

I think it ought to have a GPS sensor and transmit over any open Wi-Fi network, with an internal pickup. That way you can locate and blackmail the thief into returning it, else you'll post his bad playing. It could be like OnStar, where you come on and talk to them after a while.
