“The hardest thing in life is to know which bridge to cross and which to burn” - David Russell (Scottish classical Guitarist. b.1942)
Anybody else see him ruining another great chance. How many people would give almost anything to be in his shoes, and he just throws it away...sad.
I would like to be that person. I guess I was incorrect in my post header though. Crazy would give him an excuse that he could not help. Actually, he was just drunk. Never would have thought. I used to really be into him.

not surprised at all really, i've always thought he was a total idiot.
Had a great voice as long as it was helped with electronics (imo), but a personal story that i shouldn't relate here has always bias my feelings about him. i knew some people who had dealings with him back when GnR was just hitting it big.
#4491....
He is such a wast of talent  G&R had the potential to be one of the greatest bands of all times  Like the song "Cocaine Blues" says "lay off that whiskey and let that cocaine be" --the dog
G n R got a Zero-K's review in Kerrang! the other week for their performance at the Download festival. Axl's lost it, IMO and I don't think I'll be buying Chinese Democracy even if it does come out.
Best,
A :-)

Well VH1's Supergroup is winding down and Daddy Ted (Nugent) has ALMOST straightened out Sab Bach's drinking problem. Maybe they can do a season two just for Axl.

Although, a couple of albums in the last 15 years would of been good.
How can he "be on the right track" when, as you say, he hasnt made rock and roll in 15 years. Tipping the bottle has nothing to do with making music, else I drive by a group of very committed musical virtuoso's every morning. Nope, wouldnt expect him to be a lawyer or salesman.. just to produce music.. dont see much of that happening either.

As for the shows, he's never took them seriously.
Yea, and I agree with that. Its his looseness (meant in a good way) that made him interesting and fun to watch.. and listen too.. It might be whats keeping him from continuing too though. Hey, I loved the guy. Look at my list of influences in that thread (Where ever it may be) but you gotta make music to make music. I wish him the best

The band got bad reviews in the swedish newspapers. The average grade was two out of five marks. The weirdest thing I read was that while the three lead guitarists that replaced Slash played solos in between songs, Axl changed clothes! Once he changed clothes in the middle of a song!
He also had to go in to a kind of oxygen chamber all the time :? .
I really don't think I missed anything  .
