Geez... the other day I was giving support to Nuno and his experience in Madrid..and now we just had , to my believe, the worst earthquake in decades in Peru...I still don't know what grade it was...the telephone lines are dead (It's a miracle I could connect to internet).
Let's hope all this confusion ends soon.
I'll keep you informed.

Peace

Oh to be in England, now that Summer's here.....it might be persistently pissing it down, and half the country's under water, but at least we don't have earthquakes......small blessings, eh?

:D :D :D

I'm sorry to see that. I hope all your friends, loved ones and even those you can do without are all safe.

I watched the images on TV. Comparing to this one, our episode was just a joke: 7.5 in Richter scale. And it is an logarithmic scale. The Spanish earthquake was 5.1, equivalent to a 200 tons TNT explosion. This one is comparable to a explosion of a 1 million tons! I can not imagine it! According to the Wikipedia is equivalent to the California earthquake in 1992.

Roberto, I don't know if we can help. Keep us informed! :(

Well that certainly went international.

It was even on our news and in our local paper this morning.

Hope all made it through this natural disaster.

Roberto, there are a group of 15 firemen and 4 dogs ready to fly to Lima. They are specialist in this kind of disasters. They will fly this afternoon/night. The problem is the Lima airport is closed.

Thanks Nuno. Everything's ok here.
The big disaster was mainly in the south of Lima, where many people died. Let's see the reports today and I will keep you informed.

Thanks a lot!
