Ah, nice, but no 12 string reissues this time?
"Everybody got to elevate from the norm."
Ooooooh.
I wonder what they're going to cost in Europe? Might be worth jumping on a plane, especially with the US Dollar in such a poor state. At 1.9925 to the Great British Pouind that '59 Dano works out at £150 plus taxes, case and flight tix - a lot less than a 50th Anniversary Strat.

Funny that some folks are bidding up a "vintage" '59 on ebay ... guy says it may have belonged to Jimmy Page but he's got NO PROOF whatsoever. Dummies.
"Everybody got to elevate from the norm."
Strange shapes, but GASsy nonetheless.
Lets hope the sound good.
If you want the real vintage stuff or as close as you can get to it for a decent price then you should look at Fat Dawg - http://www.fatdawg.com It's a music store in Berkeley CA (an hour or so north of me). They apparently bought a LOT of the original Danelectro bits from warehouse clearouts in the 70's. They've been making and modding them for a long time.
Have a look here for the Danelectro stuff - http://www.fatdawg.com/danelectro.html

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not familiar with Danelectro guitars, but there's a little voice in my head connecting them with surf music....yes? no? Bands like the Ventures and Dick Dale?
So - what are the pros and cons of these guitars?
:D :D :D
