This summer we experienced growth in the home. We have 3 very active grand kids with lots of toys and no place to put them. So we fixed that.
Here's a digital recreation of this summer from my camera's point of view.

This was the yard prep to allow for larger machinery to the back yard. My fence and with my neighbors approval, his fence section were removed.

Next, the excavation for the basement foundation.
The footings are in for the foundation walls.

Next, we need access to the new basement so they are going to saw out a doorway in the existing foundation wall.

The walls have set up and are now being prepped for backfill.
They are also going to board up the opening for safety and weather considerations.
As you can see we doubled the living space from 14X14 to 14X 28. Full basement and full first floor when done.
