I won't go into too much detail, heck I wouldn't go into any if I had any sense, but that gig was a blast.

Guitarnoise was well represented by David Hodge, Greg aka gnease, me, and Jeff B. Also present and rocking: Karen, Anne, and Kyle

I'd tell you the set list except, well, I don't remember. I do remember tearing pages out of various books from days gone by and sorting them into some semblance of order with Jeff.

A very nice party, fire in the fire pit, excellent food and drinks, people dancing and...hmm, that's as far as I'll go. But the reason I bring this up is "oh, the irony"

You see, well into the evening, striding around the corner of the house who should appear but the local police. He had a puzzled look on his face, like something was wrong with the universe, an imbalance. Here he was, this 20 something year old policeman telling the 40 and 50 something year olds to keep it down. Apparently a neighbor had complained. Good God that made me feel about an eon younger. I bet it aged him dramatically.

Me, David, Greg and Jeff....the sorriest looking gang of old hooligans you'd ever want to meet, but still rocking.

Nah, you ain't the sorriest looking group of old hooligans! Heck, you can't even hold a candle to Keith Richards! Sorry we missed it! You guys rock!
I'll bet the cop will be telling all his friends about the old Folks he had to deal with last night.

Falling in love is like learning to play the guitar; first you learn to follow the rules, then you learn to play with your heart.

And some of them will read this note and then they will say: "Oh! They were the GN Band!"

Did you play the chicken dance? It's not really Oktoberfest without the chicken dance.

All my life I wanted to be somebody. Now I see I should have been more specific.

Chickens dancing? Since that was my best David Byrne I'll take that as a compliment.

It was a good time. It will be next year too.
