My wife and I were eating with a couple friends of ours tonight, and it was a very relaxed dinner, fireplaces, couches etc. Dean Martin in the background, much different than any "sports" bar I've ever been in.
I happened to see they had bands come in and play over at the other side (the club/bar which they opened on the weekends), and decided to go up to the owner and ask him about playing in the area we were eating in.
Talked to him about the laid back style I play, and how it would be a perfect fit for the area we were eating in, because I definatley don't "rock out."
He agreed, and in fact was talking about separating the two areas of the restaurant, and the revamping would be done in a few weeks, and that I would be a perfect fit! He directed me to the website: http://www.redrocktaverns.com/ and told me to fill out the "book a gig" section so that he had my information on file, and would be in touch shortly!
So I filled it out today, and hopefully will be playing there soon!
In Space, no one can hear me sing!
Oh yeah, way to do it! Sounds really good, I hope you have fun, and it works out, with a few bucks in it for you too.
Like a bird on the wire,
like a drunk in a midnight choir
I have tried in my way to be free.
Yeah, that sounds really good! :D
Way to go!

Someone posted a link to your u-tube channel in another thread, just watched the one of you playing Nothing Else Matters, which is excellent :D :D
Self-promotion is essential in this trade. Good luck.
