Many years ago when I was a young lad, my band played an outdoor gig in the winter up here in Ct. where I live.
It was sunny and about 40 degrees when we started. But clouds moved in, the temperature dropped down below 30, and it started to snow. My fingers were so cold I kept dropping my pick. When I tried to sing my face was frozen and all I could do was mumble.
We had a pretty good crowd, but it just got bad. At the end of the first set everybody had had enough. Everybody headed for their cars and turned their heaters on. We packed up as fast as we could. I thought I was gonna get frostbite.
Man, memories like that are worth a million dollars! :D
