Guess I'd better post an update on what's happening with us . . .
December's gonna be a busy month for us!
December 2: we road trip down to Graham, NC to spend a 10 hour day in the studio and get started on our first CD.
December 8: we're playing at the Colonial Heights American Legion Post #284. This is open to all legionnaires, contact the post for tickets.
December 22: Another show for the American Legion, this one at Post #2 in Petersburg, VA again, open to all Legion members, contact the post for tickets.
This looks like the first time in a few years that I'll be at home New Year's Eve - unless we get a last minute booking.
Playing guitar and never playing for others is like studying medicine and never working in a clinic.
Woo. Yesterday was a marathon fun-blast!
We made the three hour ride down to (shameless plug here) Dark Pines Studio in Graham, NC. Then tracked and mixed a three song EP in 10 hours (yes, full blown production with overdubs and everything). Then rode three hours home with a copy of the completed works. We about giggled and laughed ourselves sore over the course of the day while creating some good music.
next up: Christmas Party! WWWWWWooooooooooooTTTTTTTT!

Very cool. Courageous to do it all in one day, as your ears get tired after a few hours.
