What a man he was! That's sad news for music - I loved his voice, and all the stuff he and Steve Cropper did together ...
Sad news indeed. The man had a great voice - probably he'll always be remembered for "Midnight Hour" and "Mustang Sally" but I also loved "6345789" and his version of "Hey Jude" - Duane Allman played lead on that one.
RIP Wilson Pickett.

I grew up on Wilson Pickett! He was part of the soundtrack of my life! He will, indeed, be missed.
