Trying my very best. I could spend eight hours a day this week by just doing the guitar stuff people expect me to do this week. It's absurd, I'm feeling stressed and I haven't even been able to find the time to go college at least once this year...

Once again, I'm positive I can get *something* recorded this week, and I'm sorry for the delay. Wish it were different myself just as much I guess.

Hey Arjen, I can dig it :D I have about 7 or 8 projects going now :? I wasn't trying to hurry you, I was just going over the jams we had going on the boards, trying to get them updated and organized. I have post-it notes all over my work area. I was up till 5am recording and editing

Blues improvisation: basic introduction..

I was just looking at your blurb about yourself in your article and I noticed something:

"...the Wise People say 'practice makes perfect'."

However, the really wise will say, "practice makes permanent." Which points out that you should be careful how and what you practice ;)

Off topic yeah, but something of note ...

That's true, but the dudes who told me were usually wise. Can't make quotes up, you know. The entire blurb is wrong though, don't live in Apeldoorn, didn't start last summer, I do have lessons etc. Only my name is correct.

Well Smokin.. Its about what you might expect from a newbie but I think I am done. But I am not sure what I need to do to get it to you. Do you need the project file, the mp3, or what? I thought you said somewhere that there was a sticky covering this but I cant find it.

Thanks

My party is 'finished' and on it's way to The Dog. And when you hear it and wonder if that really is a classical guitar: yes it is. And you can blame Murphy's Law for forcing me to play blues on a spanish guitar with my thumb. Feel like I've mad a whole step backwards this time.

I'm pissed off.

Smokin, I believe my part is a little umm. off? From the track... To give you an idea, the repetitive riff during the silence, that should be starting pretty much right on the D7 chord...

My whole part should start at exactly 4:20. You can hear the problem at the end of the track too (As a kind of finale, the track plays a Bb and then a G, which I copied in my track at the same time.

Not that it sounds bad this way, but a lot of the stuff I was doing depended on the beat, etc.

Nice job everyone.

Your solo sounded great by the way, love the way you play smokin.

Edit: This post makes me want to run threw a newspaper office yelling "STOP THE PRESSES!!!"
