Of course, no problemo.
I'll look forward to the results. :D

When my mind is free, you know a melody can move me
And when I'm feelin' blue, the guitar's comin' through to soothe me ~
What the hey, I'll over-commit myself slightly and subject the family to more guitar than they're used to - I'm in! (Fellow funk jammers, I will of course, keep that one as the higher priority of the two...)
Slot 3, if you'd be so kind...

I dun did it. I wont tell your fellow funkers that you weren't serious about making this a second priority. I know where ya stand. :D

 I demand satisfaction! If I had a glove that could reach across the pond, you'd have felt it across your cheek sir!
I'm doing OK with the funk, got a basic riff down... it's just a little boring and I can't seem to spice it up. It's one of those things you just have to tinker with here and there until it clicks... dedicating all my time to it won't get me there any faster, so it can still be a high piority without taking up all my time :)
The family's gonna hate me come the weekend though... Footie on the TV on Saturday, Jam session with a mate on Sunday, and constantly playing the same little riffs over and over for the rest of it
I'll commit to this second go!
Put me up for spot #1, if you may. :)

Nothing to be scared of, Jim.
The two last parts can be easily done with the D minor pentatonic scale (Dm being the starting chord of these parts)
(theory gurus might want to correct me if I'm wrong)
The chords are Dm, C, Am and Bb if this can help you out.
Except for the ending sequence where it's Dm, C, Bb, Gm, Bb
Looks like my PC got corrupted and I have to reinstall everything from scratch.
And I'm not sure where is the install of my prefered recording software is.
So looks like I'll be out of recording for a few days.
If this delays the end result for too long give my spot to someone else.
Yves
I'm back up and running so I should have my part done this week. :D

Just to keep you posted, I'm working hard on it.
I have my spot on loop and trying millions of different things in my head hoping to find something interesting (and playable with my limited habileties) to put in there.
It's not as easy as I thought it would be.
(if only I could play what I hear  )
Totally understand that. Man, if I could just play what is in my head I would be so happy. Havent started on mine yet. Might do that today. I hurt my back so I havent been to work in a couple days.
