Kalle, thanks for jumping in here with the chords. I got busy with work and family. You saved me from figuring this out. :)

I've only given it a a quick listen, but are you sure that C#m7 isn't a C#dim7?

Peace

Hi David
You are probably right, my ears told me that is was something with that chord that wasn´t right.
I must say I am cheating a bit. I am using a SW that helps me to identify chords and bassline, Digital Music Mentor
http://www.sienzo.com/ . It is not foolproof in anyway, you need to use your ears, but it can fast point you in the right direction.

okay, thanks to both of you. Was interested in writing something more similar to this style, than to the 12 bar I'm used to, so I appreciate it.

I worked out my part and recorded it with the 51 through the Blues Jr. 8) I tried to put some feeling into it. kind of a Clapton goes to church feel. Hopefully I didn't stain my family name

Taso and Smokindog, I've got your parts worked into the rough mix.

I'll be working on my part later today.

EDIT: I meant to say 'Taso and Smokindog'

I've finally laid down my section, but not completely happy with it. I may re-record it.

David and Ignar... FYI: I'm busy Wednesday night and out of town Thu - Sat. If you send your parts, I may not reply until Sunday. In any case, no rush.

Thanks, Boogie -

We caught a bit of an ice / snow / "wintry mix" storm and I've been spending most of my time either working on keeping our road driveable for students or making up lessons this past week or so. But you should have it in your inbox when you get home.

Again, thanks for having me!

Peace

Ignar, no worries on the timeline. There's no rush.

I have downloaded your parts. I'll get them them mixed in, in the next few days.

Boogie, if you remember I had some problems with what I was sending you, and I sent it again, but what I sent you again is actually not lined up right with the backing track - did you mix it in already, or can I send it (fixed) to you again?

If not, its all good actually, because its "in time", and I actually don't think anyone in the world would notice as it sounds totally normal. It's weird, lol, I misaligned the solo track with the backing track, but I did it in time with the backing track, so it doesn't 'seem' misaligned at all (especially because it isn't the normal 12 bar blues bt).

wow, that's insane^

Taso, if you want to send to me again, that's fine with me. I want you to be happy with your part.
