I dont know if anyone out there is interested in this but I think it could be great. I am trying to get together a few musicians to create original music in the style of todays modern rock. The best thing about this is you can do it from home and in your own spare time.. We can send music via internet and put things together(I have the equipment to do this) and interact via email and IM. Also I would create a website for us to use and access as well for everything. This would allow for those musicians who have families and other priorities in their life to do it when it is a good time for them, like i do 12am at night!!!..
I guess you would have to be somewhat knowledgable with technology and have a recording device or be able to record to your computer directly at home and transfer the files to be sent via email(mp3 format). I would like to communicate as often as possible and hope to put together some pretty cool sounding songs. Looking to do modern rock/ rock style of music.

If there are any singers/ song writers / or both that are interested please contact me as well I have the capabillity to do all music for someone to add the melody and lyrics to.. And that is all from your home... Lets take advantage of technology. If you think this is cool for you and may be interested email me I would love to talk more.. even if its just to get more info contact me ASAP..

Looking for

singer/ song writers
bass players
guitar players
Drummers could get involved too, though it would be more programming not playing as we would use a drum machine..

Drop me an email, lets talk..

You might want to think about using real drums. Really not that hard to replace initial programmed drums with recordings of real drums. I myself can't really help I guess, I'm drowning in stuff to do.

Am I too late? I have some current original music I'm working on, also. I could do the drums for you.

About the drums. I own a Hart Dynamics Professional 6.4

http://www.hartdynamics.com/products/drumsets/hpro64/index.html (top one but with black mesh heads.)

and can record through my midi interface into a computer and put an entire drum track on 3.5 inch floppy with room to spare. It would be easy to create a sound file to email or whatever. You could also send me what you have and I could try to put something to it.

Between my IT job, playing out and riding Harleys, I could probably find some time to work in another project.

Hey Bish, The GN mantra--" there are no deadlines at Guitar noise" ( I think I heard that from one of the other moderators  ) we have a bunch of guys who would love to work on some collaborations, as well as songwriters. we have been doing on line jams to backing tracks on a regular basis since late winter, 2005. so I think the gang here is ready to take it to the next step. I'm working on a blues song with Arjen and pbee at this time. I did the track with a basic drum machine beat, so it would be cool if you could do drums over it and i could take out the drum machine after your done. :D :D 8) Its a slow blues, could use some nice riding cymbals and a cool mellow beat.--the dog

BTW-Glad your here!!

Can you post a link when you have a product you'd like me to listen to? I'll give a listen and go from there.

Thanks for the invite.

Thought I'd attempt to display what one of those Hart sets looks like after 2 years of road use. Now they are comfortably resting, retired from road life and supporting my recording habit. Let me tell you they were the worst for hauling around from show to show. GAAK!!! :D

In the background is the 3rd kit I've owned since the early 70's. It's a Ludwig rocker that just turned 10. My current kit I use to play live is in my avatar. Love those PDP's.

P.S. Pardon the mess. Low maintenance guy here.

Smokin.. I though this thread was dead. Havent seen the original poster but I would be available if you want/need me. Probably for vocals as my guitar skills arent that great.. But if you got someone else that is cool too. Just let me know

I would like to see lots of projects spring up in this forum, so you will get a chance to sing and play on lots of projects in the future :D :D My idea is to get more people doing real collaborations with songwriters, singers, and players and putting them together and posting them like we did with "she don't talk to me any more" .
