I'd nominate smokindog. He's around a lot, he's archiving all the jams for us, and he is rather personable and helps people out when he can. If he wants the job that is who I would vote for.

In the matter of electing a moderator for this here section of the United Forums of Guitarnoise, I do hereby vote for Smokingdog to become the governor of this here region.
If someone was to be chosen, he would be the most logical choice. Not that I think we actually need an official somebody to keep it running, but it would be some kind of recognition for the stuff he has been doing.
