And why I get so frustrated. When I see someone doing something that impressive on an acoustic guitar it makes me wonder why I bother!

I will never give up though.

Thank you for posting that link. I don't cruise youtube so I'd never have heard it otherwis. That was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. Gives me something to aspire to.

There is a link to the tab posted with the video and looking at the tab it appears that the music isn't impossible to do. Lots of C chord based moves.

The base rhythm timing will probably defeat me.

Thanks again!

I saw this video before and that guys plays so well!

It's actually more complex than the original version..

" First time I heard the music
I thought it was my own
I could feel it in my heartbeat
I could feel it in my bones
... Blame it on the love of Rock'n'Roll! "

Earlier I said-

That still may be true but looking at the tab, looking at the video and trying a few moves it appears to me that keeping the rhythm going on muted bass strings may be the hardest part. It's a complex rhythm but the other notes aren't so complex.
The wide stretch of 3X0007 is actually an interesting open G chord (a new form for me). The next move is to a barredC at the 8th fret(F shaped). Then playing a Gin the shape of a D on the 7th and 8th frets.

The tab doesn't cover a move in the video that's higher than the 10th (or so) fret.

This piece, like every other in the world, can be analysed section by section and then it doesn't seem so impossible.

I'm still FAR from playing it but it gives me something to aspire to.
