I found these guys on MSN the other day. They seem to be a blend of Hip Hop, R& B, New wave, Pop, and Jazz. They seem to be a Cartoon band with a lot of performers participating in the music.

Here is a video. I kind of like the concept :D Seems pretty cool to me 8) 8) any one know about them :?: ---the dog
I like 'em. Feel Good, Inc. is a cool song. Some of their stuff is a little too raunchy for my taste, but I've listened to a few tunes that I liked. They played "live" at the MTV Music awards show in the UK a few months ago, which was pretty impressive.

EDIT: Here is the link to their "live" performance:

I like them too. Bought my daughter the CD instead of the Nickleback she requested, because I couldn't stand to hear that freaking Photograph tune one more time. It worked.
I think the collaborative concept and even the performances (animated vids and personnas above the shadowed live performers) are neat.
Have been wondering if the name is a goof on 'The Monkees,' who also started as a manufactured band with "cartoonish" fronting personnel. Anybody know the story behind the name?
Favorites: Feelgood, Inc., Clint Eastwood and Kids with Guns (think I got those titles correct ...)

Not quite true. Damon Albarn (music) and Jamie Hewlett (graphics) are clearly the key players and brains behind this, but many others such as Danger Mouse, and numerous guest artists are involved. See Gorillaz.

Wasn't Dan the Automator involved with them at one point?

Yeah, someone beat me to it, I was going to let everyone know that Gorrillaz is actually just 2 guys and some sound equipment that make pretty good tunes.
Thanks Dudes!
Keep on Rockin'

I like some of their songs. Feelgood Inc. Clint Eastwood, and some others. They're catchy tunes that's all. I can like music of pretty much any genre as long as it's good.

I must like Gorillaz. I have their first album in my collection and listen to it often. Don't forget "19-2000," cool song too. I want to get the new ablum "Demon Days," if I weren't into the not buying CD's thing (due to high prices). I also think the Gorillaz music video's are probably the best ones shown these days, until Tool returns.

Everything is 42..... again.
The singer of the band (Damon Albarn) is also the singer for Blur.

Another Tool fan!
The new album is on it's way, I'm very excited about it. I'm not to certain we'll see many videos from it though.
