My brother turned me on to BB (and Elmore James, Howlin' Wolf, Otis Spann and many more) when I was about 12 years old, and now finally 30+ years later I'm going to see him. My brother "crossed over to the other side" many years ago, but you can bet he'll be listening too. 8)
I have the BB King/Clapton CD on right now--is it sweet!

BB is playing at the Overture Center in Madison the evening of March 15. I hadn't heard about it either, but picked up a copy of the Isthmus at Ward Brodt on Sun. and just happened to see it in there. Got online & ordered tix on Mon., and they arrived in my mail already on Tues.!
When I heard that BB King would be doing an 80th b'day celebration tour, I resolved to see him if at all possible. After all, opportunities may be running out. So I felt lucky to have seen the ad in Isthmus, or my opportunity might've slipped past.
