Well, it was Mrs Greybeard's 27th birthday (again....) and I really wanted to buy her something other than perfume and other girly stuff.
One of her favourite groups is Snow Patrol, so I thought about two tickets (she's only a young lass and needs a chaperone  ), but we saw them some time back. Purely by chance, I saw that there was another artist that 'er indoors also likes. I got two tickets off Ebay (the seller has a lot of good feedback, so I hope they're pukka) to see Bruce Springsteen on 2nd July at the Olympia Stadium in Munich.
So, can't wait, should be a brilliant show.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Sweet, I hope the tickets are genuine. Sounds like you'll have a grand time!
Awesome! Bruce and the E Street Band puts on a rocking show. 3 hours when I saw him.

Great gift! I'm seriously envious....
Have an excellent night.
Cheers,

Splendid present. I agree, you can't buy the Mrs a present that you don't approve of yourself so buying the second ticket was a must.

Very nice present :D
Thanks, guys, I'm really looking forward to it, even though it is a Thursday and I have to work Friday

Bruce has been at the top of my list - or very near it - of people to see since I bought the "Born To Run" album back in '74. Never seen so much hype around a relatively new artist as there was around Bruce - fortunately, that album justified it.
Enjoy the show!
In the meantime, here's a classic performance from back in '75 to whet your appetites.....
:D :D :D
