Whats your dream gear?
Mine is a custom made Black Cort guitar. With a bigsby and tuning locks.
Then i want to have, not one, not two, but three pickups.
two of them are active they are the Emg-81 and 85 9also known as the Zack Wylde set)
and the third is a Emg-91 (or a jazz guitar pick up)
In I also want one of the kill buttons the bucket head has. :D
Can you beat my dream gear?
I'm easy to please:
- '59 Les Paul Gibson
- Ibanez Iceman
- Great big Marshall 4x12
That's it, pretty much. I'd like to build a few guitars of my own at some point of my life, and the microchip that I wire into my brain to give me instinctive, cyclopedic knowledge of music theory and the creativity and playing skills to match would always be welcome... but I could die happy with the above list
Well since I just got the Birdsong that was on my dream list (and it really plays like a dream!)...
You have a Birdsong?! Please post pics if possible.
My dream-gear is probably pretty simple by most standards...A lefty Gibson Les Paul of any variety will do. If I'm to be picky, I'll request it in white with chrome hardware. But I'd rather have that "Music Theory Microchip" that Misanthrope mentioned.

Yep, Cortobass #105, in cherry and bloodwood.
Pics coming soon; just been too busy.
Microchip would be very cool, too. :)

Since we're dreaming...
I'd like
a Custom Gibson LP NOS that's been signed by Jimmy Page, signed under the control's cover, and on the back of the body, then clearcoated over.
a Custom Shop Fender Strat signed by David Gilmour
a Hendrix Marshall Stack
a double base Slingerland drum set in Black Pearl
and.. private lessons from David Gilmour, Page, Hendrix, Clapton and drum lessons from Bongo and Neil Pert.

I second that motion.

"If the moon were made of ribs, would you eat it?"
cool stuff. but I have all I want in gear.
what I really want is to have one live jam with Neil Young and Crazy Horse.
that would be all I need.
cool stuff. but I have all I want in gear.
+1
Perhaps a new pedal or two but I'd need time for learning and playing.
I always loved the look and the sound of Joe Perry Gibson guitar
Would like to have a the Fender Strat of Eric Clapton too

I thought it was my own
I could feel it in my heartbeat
I could feel it in my bones

I love my SG. I'd add a Les Paul Studio, a Schecter of some sort, and an MIA strat. Ampwise I want a 100watt Orange and a 100 watt Fender. Switch between the two for clean/distorted

When does this dream end ?
When does this dream end ?
sometimes I don't ever want to wake up.
Well since I just got the Birdsong that was on my dream list (and it really plays like a dream!), I'll dream about a fretless Rob Allen Mouse now:
Oh my, nice! And what is the fretboard? I can see grain patterns, but it's real dark.
My wish is for matching Carvin 5-string J-basses, one fretted, one fretless. The fretless being koa and ebony, of course.
