Oh my, nice! And what is the fretboard? I can see grain patterns, but it's real dark.

I am pretty sure he uses Macassar ebony, which can be very stripey / grainy if not dyed.

Your Carvin twins sound beauteous!

My isn't too expensive, going for around $400-700 on ebay.

1960's Silvertone Jupiter Guitar

I love everything about it and it's also a semi-hollow body, so I could get many different sounds from it.
Just need one to pop up on ebay when I have the cash for one.

Guitars: Electric: Jackson DX10D, J. Reynolds Fat Strat copy
Acoustic: New York and a Jasmine.
Amps: Austin 15 watt, Fender Deluxe 112, Fender Champion 600 5w, 0ld 1970's Sears 500g.
Effects: Digitech Whammy, Big Muff Pi USA, MXR, Washburn Distortion.

Wow, that is a very unique looking guitar. I'd never seen anything like it. The 3 neck bolts are very intriguing. I hope you have a concise owners manual with it to understand those controls. :P

For me....dreams do come true.....

I wouldn't mind a couple of Rickenbackers, a 6- and a 12-string. Also a Vox AC30 amplifier and maybe a Fender Twin.

I'd like to have a nice Strat too, I've been playing Epiphones for years. My first guitar was a Squier Strat, but I'd love to get the real thing.

That's about it, in terms of gear... maybe a couple more pedals and a case for my pedal board, but I'm pretty happy with my sound otherwise!

LOL, I was wondering if you were going to put a pedal board on your list.

I've been trying to think about what my dream gear would be. I don't really have a list or anything like that. My next plan is to rig a cheap strat with the EMG pick guard that David Gilmour used. Nothing too elaborate. If I paid full retail, it'd be about $700. With a trade and waiting for the next day only sale at GN, I should be able to get it under $500.

Other than that, a 12-string at some point. Again, nothing fancy.

Nope, I've got one now! :) A hard case would definitely be nice, since now I just kinda carry it under my arm and hope the wah doesn't fall off!

A $700 pick guard?

I've always believed that one truly great guitar was worth dozens of "almost" instruments. As such, I've been really careful with my purchases, and willing to go for high end gear over budget items every time.

As it turns out, I have my dream gear.

A $300 pick guard and a $400 guitar. I wrote that out wrong. :)
