to keep it short, my brother has been gracious enough to offer to purchase me a guitar and I have decided on Washburn. It is my first but I have several to choose from all ranging in prices. I don't want to kill him and I don't want a piece of crap either.
here are the choices:
Washburn EA9F Elec/Acous Flame maple.
Washburn EA18TR Fesitval series
Washburn D46SCE
the last is my favorite, but the most expensive
if you were faced with these choices, which would you take.
kep in mind I would like a good sound without plugging it in.
try playing all three and pick the one you like the feel/sound of most. your brother may end up paying a bit more in the long run but he offered, and in the long run he'd probably not mind spending the extra cash on a guitar that you love as opposed to the one you think you can get by with. that's just my 2 cents.
