Are these any good?

For $130 it might be cool to have an Epiphone beater to take to the beach and stuff. I tried a couple Epiphone acoustics out awhile back and was more impressed with their sound in comparison to some of the lower level Takamines/Ovations which are sold all over here.

Anyone own one of these?

Used to be, was a part of me felt like hiding.. but now it comes through. Comes through to you.

I had that exact guitar for a while. I bought it at Guitar Center for $99. It was my first acoustic. Soon after, I bought a much nicer, solid top and I got rid of the Epiphone. Laminate top guitars aren't really that great. I think you'd be better off looking for a used guitar with a solid top. I bought a Fender DG14S for $110 on "craigslist.org" that I used for camping.
