Why?
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

Will something happen to me if I don't
I ate a mars bar on the way to work does that count?
Immature? Of course I'm immature Einstein, I'm 50 and in a Rock and ROll band.

Don't get me started on Mars bars.
if you ate one recently it would have to be pretty stale as they stopped making them some time ago
they have avoided my picketing their national HQs by releasing the Snickers w/almonds.
a wise choice on their part don't you think? 8)

Ahhh Man, they quit making Mars bars?
Ahh now I get it.. Its a band. Not really my style but I liked "L'Via L'Viaq..." The vocals remind me a little of Whitesnake at times.. but the music and style seems really unique to me.

My only guess is that jason brann likes the song - "Francis the mute" by the band - The Mars Volta
I hope we didn't scare him off by joking around :(
Ohh.. I thought Francis the Mute was the band and the other was the song. Either way.. I found samples. :D Not bad

"Drunkship Of Lanterns" had some nice playing and effects.
I thought he meant the films popular during the WWII era -- Francis the Mule. (That's Francis the talking mule, by the way, so he can't have been mute. I've discovered an apparent contradiction in the original post). I WIN! (oops, wrong thread).

I saw the mars volta live...they played before system of a down. They were terrible IMO. The lead singer sure can dance like a meth head though when he's screaming into the mic. Calling them terrible may be unfair, but they sound terrible because of the way they set up their levels...the volume on the lead vocalists mic was about twice as loud as any of the instruments.
Guitarin' isn't a job, so don't make it one.
