OK, I have always loved this guy :D This is a very good Documentary on them. Very funky indeed
Oh yeah, P-Funk had a lot of really cool stuff!
"A cheerful heart is good medicine."
Atomic Dog always gets me woofin.
I have been in a funk groove of late. might have to post a song. 8)
Personally I'#ve always preferred Funkadelic. Never really got into Bootsy's or Parliament.
Some absolute tunes... "Mommy, What's a Funkadelic?", "I'll Bet You", all of the album "Maggot Brain" (in my top 5 ever), etc.
Shame there are so few tabs. I try and play a little of it every now and again, but I have recently near perfected Maggot Brain (the song). Even had some amazing sparks of improv last night!

Oh and "Friday August 14th", "Funky Dollar Bill", the list goes on. Truly great musicians and it helps (for me anyway) tha they have a reasonably strong Hendrix influence :).
