First post! Anyway...
I'm after a new guitar and I fancy something with a Bigsby. I've currently got an American Tele Deluxe and a Godin LG P90 and I'm after someting a bit different.
I've seen a couple of guitars I'm interested in. The first one is the re-released Gretsch Electromatic Corvette, like this...

RRP is £499 so the price is OK. I love the SG-ish aesthetic and it's not just an everyday, common guitar.

Has anyone tried either of these? I prefer the look of the Gretsch (slightly) but the cheap price of the Yamaha is swaying me towards that one a bit. Any opinions?

Just wondering if you made a purchase? I'm kinda looking at the same guitars, maybe with an epiphone thrown in the mix also (not sure whether to go towards an LP or a hollowbody). I really like the look of the gretsch, and it got an good review in Guitarist magazine in the UK recently. Not sure if I'll be able to find it in a shop to play though........
