"I play live as playing dead is harder than it sounds!"
Uh....I was impressed with just the fingerpicking. Wicked playing.
Well, nicely played. The bass sync was particularly interesting. Thanks for posting, Nick.
Jerry's Breakdown (along with Chet Atkins) is a Jerry Reed Classic and one of the most challanging pieces to play among others. I wonder how I can learn to play this piece...
To see of more real Jerry, youtube Jerry Reed and you will find many great vids of Reed and Chet Atkins (playing together).
Rock On JR from a huge fan !
Nice. And I've always have liked Jerry Reed's music. He's done a lot more than those 'Smokey and the Bandit' flicks. Anyone remember Amos Moses?

Wasn't Amos a cajun that lived by himself in a swamp?
And hunted alligators for a living!
"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!

Yeah, the first player's got the banjo roll down.
I've often wished I had four hands (and could use them) to play guitar, but I have a tough enough time coordinating two!

Holy crap. Those are wicked cool guitars. I wonder how much they cost. I may pick up 3 or 4 if they're under $100,000,000 each.
Teamwork- A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.
"Jerry's Breakdown", and a lot of other great longs are available in the book "Chet Atkins in Three Dimensions, Volume 1".
I got mine from 'sheetmusicplus'.

Now everybody blamed his old man
for raising him mean as a snake
When Amos Moses was a boy,
his Daddy would use him as alligator bait
Long live Amos !
How about other songs of JR like 'A thing called love', 'Pretty mary sunlite' and 'Mule skinner blues' :D .
I've always liked that song, and also Poke Salad Annie. Kinda in the same vein.
