Ok here is the deal,
I am going to be taking lessons and of course need a guitar, I have never picked one up before but would like to know a bit before I go to my lesson and they try to sell me the most expensive guitar in the store :P
I don't really know much about the sizes and stuff brands but if anyone can offer some help that would be great! Also, I came across this seller on ebay who sells full sized guitars for very very cheap, and it seems too good to be true, what do you think?

What is the difference between a 38 and 41 inch? what size should I be using (I am an adult).
Thanks everyone :)
check out this article or various others you will find if you go straight to https://www.guitarnoise.com and look at the lessons index.

You won't be able to find a cheap guitar that is all wood, but the one thing to look for is at least a wood top. Most likey what you'll find is spruce. When you go shopping make sure to find out what the top is made of. Make sure it is not something like laminate or plywood. If the salesperson doesn't know, keep looking.
