Hey Gnease, thal looks nice! That P90 looks like the factory put it there. I like the sound of P90's as well. The size and power af a bucker but since they are single coil they have bite. You still have to deal with the hum but it is a worth while trade.

P-90s are my favorite pickups all around. I just love 'em!

You're '51 looks super. And I still play mine, have practiced with it every night this week. I've got to say, I do like the neck pickup tone on my stock '51. And it is pretty tight sounding too. I often play in the middle position with the bridge humbucker and neck single coil, they compliment each other nicely.
But I am more of a humbucker type than single coils. I just like the warm, round tone of humbuckers. But that is me, I respect everyone's own personal opinion on types of pickup and which pickup they use. Lane, the lead guitarist in my band hates humbuckers. So it's all good. :D
And I knew that P-90s are single coil pickups, but they have that special tone and more natural breakup than most single coils. And I really like that tone and breakup a lot.

Gnease - you said you were waiting for the nitro to cure... did you paint the guitar? It looks black to me. Did you change the color, or what is the nitro for?
