I was checking out old Surf music on You Tube and ran across this old video of the Atlantics in 1963.

I think this video is pretty amazing. The rhythm guitarist is super-fast, playing right along with the drummer.
The lead guitarist is getting some cool distortions around 1:30 into the song and later at the end also. They didn't have distortion pedals yet, so this is pretty amazing.
These guys were way ahead of their time. 8)
If you know something better than Rock and Roll, I'd like to hear it - Jerry Lee Lewis
Neat. Like the fast stuff.

I loved the "Outer Limits" energy wave  Good stuff, Still cool today i think. Our friend Arjen should check this out :D
I liked when the lead was really getting into the crunch from 2:20-ish to the end. You can see the emotion in his body and on his face when he strangles that axe.
"That’s what takes place when a song is written: You see something that isn’t there. Then you use your instrument to find it."
