Fact:

I'm frequently told that I don't know my arse from my elbow.

So there's no way I'm going to try and lick my elbow as it might be my arse!
ROFLMAO!

Why did I try to lick my elbow?

Everyone who read this did. Don't try to deny it!

http://www.snopes.com , for all your urban-myth status requirements. If you're reading this thread, you'll love it.

http://word-detective.com/backidx.html , for a lot of (not quite all) your etymology requirements.

http://www.damninteresting.com/ - Not quite the same, but close enough to appeal to the same kind of people

Rats..... I was foolish enough to follow the links. That's a few more weeks of my life down the drain!

Good sites. :D

Cheers,

Chris

Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a great king from
history:
Spades - King David
Hearts - Charlemagne
Clubs -Alexander, the Great
Diamonds - Julius Caesar
Unfortunately, Julius was not a king.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?
