I'm not sure if anyone has ever tuned a guitar, using pitch pipes - I've certainly tried - many times - too many times.
this how I (allegedly) tune my violin -- however, it does not improve my playing
Interesting.....
I tune my violin using a chromatic tuner. The same one I've currently lost, as it happens...
Now, during the Great Tuner Hunt of 09 (last week) when I took the house apart and failed to find the Korg, I did open the violin case and poke around inside, just in case I'd left it in there. But I hadn't.
But it can't hurt to check again can it..... it might be back from whatever parallel universe it's been exploring...
Let's pop down and look, right now...
Nope. Still not there, but... is that a pocket on the outside of the case??? It appears to be empty but lets' unzip it and see. Hey, look - a packet of spare strings - I'd forgotten all about those..... "Hi Strings! And who's your little friend hiding right down in the far corner of the pocket? Kind of slim...and black... and GOTCHA YA BASTARD!"
Right, where's that pink paint, some glue and a brick....
THANK YOU GREG, THANK YOU!
THANK YOU  :note1: :note2: :note1:
Cheers,
Chris
Incidentally, it's apparently a Korg CA30, like Greybeard's.
It's also got my name and phone number written on the back. I put that on there after it escaped into the local guitar shop and hid for a couple of weeks.
So now my feelings are hurt. It had my phone number all the time, but it never even called me.... :( :( :(
Is this the end for us? Or are there counsellors now who specialise in therapy for relationship breakdowns between owners and their stuff..??? :|
:?:
....and I'll bet it doesn't even send me a postcard!!!
I thought you were talking about tuners not metro-gnomes! :D
