Anybody like them? My guitar teacher let me listen to some of their songs, and they're pretty good IMO. The lead is especially cool!

Yeah, Wilco is on my list of bands that matter -- I've been a fan for some years now. Summer Teeth and Yankee Foxtrot Hotel are fine pieces of work. I recommend both highly.

A.M. remains one of my favorite CD's.
As a confessed poker and blackjack nut, I have a special place in my heart for the song Casino Queen

I love Wilco. I have all their CDs. I'd have to say Being There or A Ghost is Born are current favorites.

It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!
If you are fans of Wilco, you can go there :

and download the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Demos. It's really worth it ! And it's legal (or at least that's what they say).
If you don't already have them, you'll need a BitTorrent client and a shorten decoder (XAct is simple ans fast). Both are available for free on the net.
The recorded gigs might be also of some value, I don't know, I didn't download them yet.
Wow, never thought I'd see Wilco pop up on here...
E.Sherman, there might be more Wilco fans here than you expect..

Im a wilco fan. The stuff on Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is real good. If you havent seen it, the movie I am trying to Break your Heart, about the making of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is really good.
How interesting that this is posted on here now. I was just recently told to check out Wilco by someone. I know you guys have been talking about a bunch of albums but I was wondering where should I start out with them? What songs I of theirs I should go hunt down and what album would be a good first purchase? Thanks... and sorry about trying to hijack the thread.
It's not easy being green.... good thing I'm purple.
