Got back from the concert about an hour ago. On the whole a fun concert. The opening act was some boring punk power trio whose name I forget, and aside from Jack accidentally knocking over two of his guitars with a chord, the White Stripes were great. I don't much like Jack's screaming, especially on songs where the recorded version is somewhat melodic, but it really worked. Terrifically high energy, and the guitar work was fantastic. It's clear to me now that Jack's playing is tremendously rooted in the blues, and even his slide work on Death Letter and Seven Nation Army was inspired. In terms of a pure listening experience I still prefer the albums, but that man can really deliver live.
