You don't have a bad voice, but its harder to sing with no music you may sound even better with music behind you, the lyrics will flow easier. I would also say to try to control your breathing better and bring the words up from your gut instead of your throat. Of course I make some of the same mistakes when I sing so your not getting this advice from any steven tyler

A little too much from the throat and a bit nasal (may just have been nerves - almost like you are trying a bit too hard). Good voice and pitch, just relax your shoulders, stand straight and sing from the diaphram. You are very close and I know you can do it. Just remember to relax and maybe warm up with a few scales and you'll nail it!
