Anyone have links to tabs for slide licks for electric blues in open G? I'm thinking George Thorogood (I have already mastered arpeggiating on the top 3 strings, which he does a lot), Elmore James, high energy stuff.
Thanks,
Sam

Try looking around in here: http://www.bigroadblues.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=6&sid=b02c81a774c62ed8d8ad21a3add0fcfe

I know there are places out there, but I don't have a link handy. I think you'll find a link somewhere in the one above if you look for a while. Lonesome George's stuff is very basic. Played with lots of gusto, of course. So is Elmore James', and every slide player needs to know how to play his Dust My Broom.

Wow, I didn't know that they had a tab section. I guess I should start visiting Big road blues more often :D

Hey Ric, I noticed that they made you the main mod over there :D 8)

Yeah, that's 'cause I spend more time hanging out on the board than anybody, a while back it was overrun with spammers, and I was always E-mailing PappyJ to get that stuff cleared out. He deputized me to be able to clear out the spam myself. He had to take over approving all new members to post, as is done here, so the spam problem has eased considerably. (But not the administrator's workload!)
