Power-chord is useful, but I'd like to see the notes laid out on the fretboard.
"Things may get a whole lot worse/ Before suddenly falling apart"
Steely Dan
"Look at me coyote, don't let a little road dust put you off" Knopfler
I've got Steinar's above link in the "Favorites" on all my browsers.

As will I, from now on!
I'm generally good at adapting to different tunings, etc., but this looks very handy...
Looks like a good kick-starter for all kinds of things!
Ah, that is useful, I just have to remember to use IE not firefox.

before I found the chord finder link I mapped out my open tunings.
I took each string and noted its note on each fret. took awhile, but I am familiar now!
I was pleased by the effort, I saw all the triads, slants, and inversions.
of course it took me and will take me some time to play it.
it was a good learning experience.
I did the same with C6 and open D.
I take that little note pad with me. at a glance I can spot where I am.
It's very useful to figure out how tunings relate to each other. For instance, in Open G anything on strings 2-4 is exactly where you'd find it in standard tuning. Anything on strings 1, 5, and 6 is two frets higher.
