I have to say that I really like what you have so far.
It's very bittersweet - Both funny and yet sad all at the same time.
I think it fits well into what David had in mind this week.... Especially with the 'spell' part.
And in that it has a twisted sense of fate or destiny typical of modern western thinking :|

I like the idea you've got going here, but can't wait to see it developed further. I'd quite like to see some kind of twist - e.g. things not working and the guy/girl seeking a refund and the 'shop' reufsing since its not their fault it failed to work, or something like that.
good job, and a refreshing/creative take on a topic that's leaving me stumped.
