Hey all! I'm new here - I'm new at song-writing too. Ive been playing guitar for about a year now and have recently began song-writing and composing (with pratically no knowledge of scales and musical theory, but hey, what the hell, right?). Anyhoo, here's a wee song I churned out the other day. I have to warn you, it won't be the most "heaviest" thing you've ever read and it certainly isn't serious, poetic work, but I hope you enjoy it all the same!

it's true, it's not heavy or very serious, BUT I just love it 8)
it really leaves me smiling and therefore did justice with the assignment.
is your song something in the direction of maybe blink 182 ? at least the feeling I get from it. a fun song.

hmm, doesnt ring any blink bells with me. but then again im not a fan of blink 182 so I wouldnt know many of their songs. But i did used to be a big fan of other "punk" bands even though blink 182 is more of a punk pop or rock band.
