countryangel28 - is posting some really weird things. Not offensive or spammy, just somewhat random. Originally signed up Oct 2006, but it feels like a child suddenly got ahold of the account. ~25 total, but 5 or more today.

Anyone have a different opinion?

On a related topic, josethpauline's posted a hello in meet and greet (countryangel28 replied, which led me there...) - check out the link in her signature - I've a feeling we may be in for some spam.....

Here's the link.... https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=45125

I PM'd josethpauline to remove it from her signature and her website profile link or we'd remove it for her, and I let her know she should contact Paul about paid ads from the company in her signature. We'll see where it goes.

might want to do the same for this new one:

https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=45189

one signature link to guitar store, one to erotic toy store. Shop first (whicheve mood is applicable  ) but then ask him to remove it. I've moved the post to EL until we figure out what to do.

Maybe we need to check signature links before approving initial posts?

Peace

Behave yourself! It's a gloriously sunny day in London and I need something to pass the time in the factory. I presume we can actually make those edits. I assume you can :-)

Re: countryangel28

I've always thought she was a spammer and I even made a post about her a year or so ago. All she was posting were things like "Check out (insert country band here)" or "Have you heard the latest song by "(insert country band here)". And she always had a link to a music promoter. I thought then and I think now that she should be treated as any other spammer.

Bah. I can see how nice it is in London from watching the tennis from Wimbledon....according to my weather gadget, it's 86 degrees. Here, it's 72 degrees and raining.....and I have no toilet door. Took the old one off, took the hinges and handles off, took it out onto the back yard. Got my drill and electric saw out, armed myself with a variety of screwdrivers, chisels and a plane, got my workmate (portable workbench) out, put the old and new doors together, started marking the hinge positions. It started raining. Put everything away quickly....five minutes later it stopped. So I waited till the yard dried up - all concrete flags - and got everything out again. So it started raining again....that was an hour ago, and it still hasn't stopped!

Oh, and it's a downstairs toilet/bathroom - next to the kitchen.

Bah.

Bloody rain!

She's back again today promoting James Morrison's song "You give me something".

I've moved it to EL and maybe it's time for Nick to remove her from the general list.

Peace

That should bring things to a head.

I notice that I can't remove the credit check agency website from josethpauline's profile. So much for the iron fist. Sigh.
