Derrek is taking a break until Wednesday evening, per my iron fist.
He's pissed off three people in one thread, called those who mentioned he doesn't pay attention "bad apples" and just worn my patience thin.
I emailed him to let him know.

Some of our members are getting a little irritated by what they perceive as a lack of respect for the time and effort put into their answers to your questions.
I'm sure that's not meant to be the case. I think a day or two to reflect on both sides is in order.

Perhaps fewer posts, and letting people know you've read about and have considered their opinion when you reply, and not asking the same questions might help.

He's had more than a fair chance. Maybe he'll take the hint and stay away for a nice long rest. In any event, a couple of days will be a nice break for the board.
