My boss came with me. His name is Paul.

He's lined himself up a peach of a secondment to UBS Stamford, which makes travelling to his existing guitar teacher a bit of a no-no, so he's going to need a new teacher. Initially, he's going to be camped out in New York but he's going to have to find himself accomodation and I don't know where he'll end up.

Have any of you got any teachers' names in NY or CT? Paul's around the Grade 3 level - struggling with Barre chords.

Thx

Alan,
What is a "secondment"?

And what kind of music does he play or does he want to play?

Peace

I can suggest several teachers in Westport at one school (exit 18 ), which is 15 miles beyond Stamford, but can be up to an hour if traffic is bad.

Don't forget The Studio in NYC as a place to jam.

And you still owe us the opportunity to buy you dinner when you're here!

Thanks, guys,

Tim - Secondment - he's still employed by us in London, but he's working for New York doing a job that they'd have to hire to fill locally. His job here is filled whilst he's gone, but we more or less promise to find him a job here when he comes back. More or less the same as I had when I was in Germany and just discovering GN.

David - he plays folk and ballads and he wouldn't mind playing some jazz and blues.

And I'm sure I'll be back in the not too distant future, so I'll definitely take up that dinner invitation. If we work it right, I can even expense it on the company Amex.
