Apparently, some spammers are sending PMs...

Perhaps we could set things so that you only get PM priviledges after a certain number of posts, but that seems like a royal pain and this may simply be a one-time thing.

Ah, that may explain why I got a PM notification email and when I clicked on the link there was nothing new in my Inbox. Or is something else happening out there?

That can also happen if someone sends you something and then deletes it himself (herself) before you get 'round to opening it.

I think that happened because I deleted the user account before you read the PM. I go through and delete the reported spammers almost every day before 7:00am
