An article on tremolo picking would be welcomed very warmly by me, so if anyone could stick one up that'd be great.

Hopefully it'll help with pick control and speed as well as giving me another cool sound to add to the repertoire.

A quick hint: turn your pick sideways when tremolo picking. It makes control and speed much easier.

Ha.

That's a very interesting tip!

never heard of doing that before. The only time I've ever used it sideways is to do some string slides.

Thanks. :)

Wait you do mean so that the two "faces" of the pick are pointing up and down the strings right?

Rest your pick against the strings then turn the pick just a little bit (like starting a car). What happens is, you take away the "direct" contact point by creating a little drag point that the string follows until you go pass the string.

And try to use just the tip of the pick.
