I log in with the "log me in automatically" thingy checked, but this past week or two, I've been logged out a lot when I visit GN. Last time it happened, I clicked the "log in" button and it bypassed the password page and just logged me straight in. No biggie from my end (it's hardly the end of the world), but as it's only been happening very recently, I thought a heads up was in order in case there's a glitch or something.
FWIW, I've not visited GN from any other computer/mobile/etc during the time this has happened. It's always been using my home computer.
I had that problem some time ago. I detected I logged out when I tried to open several browser windows by clicking on the notification emails, ie. I opened my email client and I started to open every thread with new posts from the email messages, only the first link was shown and the others were in the login message.
I guessed it was a problem with the connection establishment, user verification, cookie updating or something like that. It works if I open them sequentially.
